director/writer & creative producer
I received my first camera - a Polaroid Impulse I stumbled into storytelling at the age of 8, armed with a Polaroid that captured meaningful moments — my first subject? My Barbie’s New Year’s Eve ball, of course. I graduated to my Minolta X700, a trusty companion that still helps me express my view of the world in its rich complexities.
Armed with a degree in Rhetoric, I found myself at Columbia University’s film program, where I learned to articulate written narratives into vivid imagery. New York became my classroom, a wild and wonderful place that taught me lessons in love, loss, and the beautiful chaos of creativity.
Love Jones and Annie Hall guide my artistic compass, while jazz plays the score to my life. I have a deep appreciation for patient storytelling and the authenticity found in natural dialogue. As both a writer’s writer and an actor’s director, I’m on a quest to weave stories that resonate and connect us to our shared humanity.
